The Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) has initiated a criminal proceeding for possible illegal activities in the state authority service regarding to the falsification of documents in the process of construction of Kr. Barona street at Riga.
Gained evidence, within the criminal proceeding, indicates that in the procurement of Traffic Department of Riga City Council “Riga city street pavement periodic renovations in 2015” part “Renovation of street pavement. Pavement renovation at Kr.Barona street” a state official has forged offcial documents.

KNAB states that no person is considered guilty until his guilt
of a criminal offence is proved in accordance with the provisions
of the Criminal Procedure Law.
