The Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) has taken a decison on refusal to grant State budget funding to political party “Vienotība” because of violations in Section 7.3 of the Law On Financing of Political Organisations (Parties) which allows to suspend the disbursement.
KNAB has taken a decision to suspend the disbursement of State
budget funding to “Vienotība” starting with 15th October 2016
because of the decision of the Head of KNAB taken on 1st July 2015
about party’s “Vienotība” subjecting to the administrative
liability in accordance to the unspecified transactions or
donations in 2014 year’s election revenue and expenditure
declarations in the amount of 57 142,35 EUR the total amount of
which exceeds 100 minimum monthly wages, came into forth on 6th
October 2016.
